About the show
The animals at Chatterbox Zoo need some fun! Mr Spick-and-Span the Zookeeper makes them follow lots of rules and they never have time to play. The Giraffe and Elephant want to dance, the Monkey wants to play silly games, and the Giant Cats just want something other than fish to eat. They need some children who believe in magic to listen to them and bring their smiles back. Can you help them?
“Talk to the Animals!” is a wonderful introduction to performance, playing characters, developing imagination and caring for others. Using music, puppets, choreography and storytelling, the show creates an entire world for the pre-schoolers to explore together. They’re also encouraged to join in, and participate and perform in a gentle, supportive environment.

The show is designed to be performed in indoor pre-school spaces, requiring minimal set-up and using a compact stage area. It is interactive and involving for all young audiences, while reinforcing positive messages. The show includes:
- A focus on stories and reading
- Fun characters who communicate directly with the audience
- Comedy, music and dancing
- A range of acting techniques, aimed at inspiring a love of drama
Good to know
All we need is an indoor space roughly four metres square to perform in, ten chairs for the stage, and access to power. We provide the rest! We perform for any size pre-school group, though a limit of around 40 children per show is recommended. We charge a flat rate for our pre-school shows, and we can travel anywhere within Victoria (travel fees apply). Contact us to find out more!
