Holiday Program Shows
Performances for Libraries, Festivals and Holiday Programs. Carp’s School Holiday performances provide 45 minutes of high-energy, interactive fun for all children from 3 to 12 – and their parents!
With a Carp Performance, the children are the stars of the show! In every performance, we invite volunteers from the audience to join us for magic tricks, silly dances and to play parts in the stories. It’s what makes every Carp show unique!
How our Holiday Program Shows operate
Carp’s holiday program shows are adaptable to any indoor space, and require minimal set-up. They’re designed to be interactive and involving for all audiences, while reinforcing positive messages. Our shows all include:
- A focus on stories and reading
- Fun characters who communicate directly with the audience
- Comedy, music and dancing
- A range of acting techniques, aimed at inspiring a love of drama

SILLY SUPERHEROES!
At the Flying High Superhero Academy, Captain Clumsy Pants has a new mission: defeat Wanda the Wicked Wand! Join him on a cape-tripping adventure and help him save the day!

The Ringmaster’s meddling Hat has turned his show into a Topsy Turvy Big Top! All the serious performers are now part of a super silly circus!

ONCE UPON A TIME…
‘… the fairytale characters were feeling out of sorts! The Dragon has a sore throat, Cinderella has blisters, and the Big Bad Wolf has burnt his bottom! Humpty Dumpty MD needs your help to cure the characters and return the fairytales to normal again.

DREADFUL DRAGONS!
King Cranky Pants’ court is in an uproar! Sir Lee, his famous Knight, has disappeared and a fierce fire breathing dragon is heading straight toward his castle! He needs a hero to save the day!

Old Ted and his friends are the Toy Box favourites. But new electronic, flashing toys have arrived. Who will be the most popular? A show about the history of toys, how toys move and how they enrich our imaginations

THE RUNAWAY CANDY CANE – CARP’S 2026 CHRISTMAS SHOW
The Chief Elf is in a sticky situation. The yummy treats for the Christmas Feast have run away – including the cheeky candy cane! Help the Chief Elf recover all the treats, or this Christmas might turn sour!

Good to know
All we need is an indoor space roughly four metres square to perform in, ten chairs for the stage, and access to power. We provide the rest! We perform for any size group, though a limit of around 100 children per show is recommended. We charge a flat rate for our holiday program shows, and we can travel anywhere within Victoria (travel fees apply). Contact us to find out more!
