A trip inside a magical book to find a grumpy king, a missing knight and a dragon causing havoc throughout the castle!
King Cranky Pants’ court is in an uproar! Sir Lee, his famous Knight, has disappeared and a fierce fire breathing dragon is heading straight toward his castle! He needs a hero to save the day! Who will save the kingdom from midnight wake-up roars and burnt marshmallows?
About the show
A comedy performance for children, with minstrels, court jesters, silly dances, magic tricks, a grumpy King and a meddling Dragon. Sir Lee is tired of performing hair-raising feats every time somebody opens his book, so he’s taking a holiday, leaving King Cranky Pants with no-one left to protect the kingdom. Luckily, our visiting audience is on hand to entertain, applaud and protect the King. He’ll need lots of help though, because a dragon has just arrived! Can we defeat the dragon ourselves and save the day? Find out in this riotous show!

‘Dreadful Dragons!’ is adaptable to any indoor space, and requires minimal set-up. It is interactive and involving for all young audiences, while reinforcing positive messages. The show includes:
- A focus on stories and reading
- Fun characters who communicate directly with the audience
- Comedy, music and dancing
- A range of acting techniques, aimed at inspiring a love of drama
Good to know
All we need is an indoor space roughly four metres square to perform in, ten chairs for the stage, and access to power. We provide the rest! We perform for any size group, though a limit of around 100 children per show is recommended. We charge a flat rate for our holiday program shows, and we can travel anywhere within Victoria (travel fees apply). Contact us to find out more!
