A trip to a dinosaur park to meet some dino friends, and find the disco-dancing T-Rex!
Come along for some roarsome fun in this stomping, jumping, thumping, dino-packed show. It’s a Jurassic Jive!
About the show
In our Dinosaur park, Professor Fred Fossil is on the search for the popular T-Rex. Nobody knows where it is, but our dinosaur friends are keen to help. Chomp the Triceratops has been looking amongst the delicious ferns. Glyder the Pterodactyl can show us how to search from the sky. And the baby dinosaurs want to help too – they’re clever but a bit cheeky! Maybe the T-Rex has been busy learning how to dance?
“Dinosaur Dance!” is both information-packed, with interesting facts about dinosaurs, and a lively journey through an island with fun-loving friends around every bend. We watch them eat, take to the air with them, explore the jungle, and play parts in a story about a clumsy Dinosaur called Whomp. Using music, puppets, choreography and storytelling, the show creates an entire world for the pre-schoolers to explore together. They’re also encouraged to join in, and participate and perform in a gentle, supportive environment.

The show is designed to be performed in indoor pre-school spaces, requiring minimal set-up and using a compact stage area. It is interactive and involving for all young audiences, while reinforcing positive messages. The show includes:
- A focus on stories and reading
- Fun characters who communicate directly with the audience
- Comedy, music and dancing
- A range of acting techniques, aimed at inspiring a love of drama
Good to know
All we need is an indoor space roughly four metres square to perform in, ten chairs for the stage, and access to power. We provide the rest! We perform for any size pre-school group, though a limit of around 40 children per show is recommended. We charge a flat rate for our pre-school shows, and we can travel anywhere within Victoria (travel fees apply). Contact us to find out more!
