Grab your teddy bear and join us for a paw-some show full of laughs, dancing and grrreat stories!
Marshmallow the Teddy Bear has come to life in the toy box, and wants us all to join her for a Teddy Bears’ Picnic in the forest. We’ll play hide-and-seek, make a magic cake, play games, and help act out a story about a cheeky girl who loves porridge!
About the show
A fun, gentle show for pre-schoolers about one of their favourite things – teddy bears! At the Teddy Bears’ Picnic we’ll meet lots of fun friends: a bear who loves hide-and-seek, a Wizard bear who can create delicious cakes with a magic word, a storytelling bear, and even a teddy bear waiting at the end of a Bear Hunt! Who could it be?
“We’re Going on a Bear Hunt”is the perfect way to introduce pre-schoolers to the world of imagination and adventure – and encourage them to participate and perform in a gentle, supportive environment. Included in the show is the story of ‘Goldilocks’, with volunteers from the audience chosen to play bears.

The show is designed to be performed in indoor pre-school spaces, requiring minimal set-up and using a compact stage area. It is interactive and involving for all young audiences, while reinforcing positive messages. The show includes:
- A focus on stories and reading
- Fun characters who communicate directly with the audience
- Comedy, music and dancing
- A range of acting techniques, aimed at inspiring a love of drama
Good to know
All we need is an indoor space roughly four metres square to perform in, ten chairs for the stage, and access to power. We provide the rest! We perform for any size pre-school group, though a limit of around 40 children per show is recommended. We charge a flat rate for our pre-school shows, and we can travel anywhere within Victoria (travel fees apply). Contact us to find out more!
