CARP’S BRAND NEW FAIRYTALES SHOW!
The Easter holidays are done, and we had a terrific time performing at various venues and OSHC programs around Victoria – and now we’re launching into Term Two with our amazing new Fairytales show for Primary Schools – “Once Upon a Time….”
“Once upon a time…the fairytale characters were feeling out of sorts! Cinderella’s toes have blisters, the Dragon has a sore throat, and the Big Bad Wolf has burnt his bottom! We need you to help Humpty Dumpty MD cure the characters or we might never see our favourite fairytales come to life again!”
A unique take on traditional fairytale performance, including up-to-date music and references to popular culture,“Once Upon a Time…” brings many much-loved characters to life and inspires students to love literature! It also explores the differences and similarities between fairytales, participation in performance, characterisation and role-playing, and the transition from books to performance.
We’re taking bookings now, and the show will be available to perform from the start of June. Our 2025 Fairytales show, “Happily Ever After?” is also available – contact us for more details for either of these hilarious, captivating shows!
For Libraries in the June/July School Holidays, don’t miss out on our brand-new comedy show, “Laugh Your Socks Off!” Slots are already filling up so get in quick!

Our 2026 Personal Capability show “Happy Being Me!”, is available to book for schools now! It’s our Featured Show for Term One 2926. The show is specifically designed to work within the Personal and Social Capability and Ethical Capability units for years Foundation-Two, focusing on recognition and development of personal skills, working with and respecting others, social problem-solving, resilience and the importance of learning from our mistakes. It also incorporates dramatic techniques and narrative strategies. “Happy Being Me!” is an entertaining and interactive show, with lots of laughs and opportunities to be a part of the performance.
“Magnifico the Magician expects his entertainers to dazzle the audience with wondrous tricks. But they have different ambitions. Join them as they teach us happiness is found not in a magic show, but within ourselves. A show about embracing our unique talents and recognising the importance of friendship.”
All of our shows are interactive, with dress-ups and parts to play for volunteers from the audience – and opportunities for the entire audience to be part of the action! ‘Happy Being Me!’ is the perfect start to the school year, as well as aiding the students with dramatic techniques, narrative studies, and performance skills.
